The challenge this week was to shoot a photo in the “Accidental Renaissance” style. I had to look it up. The Golden Ratio is supposed to be involved, but not being anything close to a mathematician, I had to guess at the balance in my composition. There are no Fibonacci spirals in this photo, which was one option. The other uses extremes of light and dark and a bit of soft focus to place the elements of the photo in several non-equal rectangles. I got the light, dark, and soft focus, but I think the balance between my large and smaller (use your imagination) rectangles might be a bit off. I didn’t do the math.
