We have an enormous perennial plant in our front yard that comes up each year from a transplant a friend gave me years ago. I didn’t write down the name of the plant at the time, but an exhaustive search has revealed this 8-ft. tall stalky plant to be a “cup plant.” It blooms with clusters of yellow daisy-like flowers in late July and August. The bees, butterflies, and goldfinches love the flowers. We love watching them.
This lovely fig bush is producing tasty figs again this year.
