So ironic that we can’t go anywhere with anyone right now for fear of contracting COVID-19, but we got a spectacular spring this year. I took a walk in the woods today. This is what I found within a half hour.
Top to bottom, left to right: azaleas, bugleherb, dandelion, Virginia bluebells, flowering bush, wood fungi, lovage, ostrich ferns, magnolia, wood poppy, ragwort, violet, redbud.
Fortunately none of my neighbors noticed a surreptitious person prowling around in the dark street in front of their houses last night with a cell phone pointed to the sky. I was trying to get a decent shot of the pink moon without hauling out DSLR and tripod. Lazy. I’ve been photographically lazy all year so far. Need to do something about that.
Looking through my 2019 photos, I found one that inspired me to use it as a springboard for abstract inspiration and design.
