52-Week Photo Challenge, 2017
Week 8: It’s the last frame on the roll. Nail it in one shot.
Knowing this would be a busy week, I loaded up on potential photos last weekend, which included documenting the spring flowers still emerging in our yard. Here is what happens when you don’t accidentally snip the stem of the climatis plant when doing spring cleanup. The vine climbs and you actually get flowers!
Back to early spring weather last week, these tables and chairs outside a cafe were deserted in favor of their warmer cousins inside. I decided to go black and white to increase the stark mood rather than leave the inviting warm brown bricks as the background. I also want the viewer to focus on the abstract shapes created by the chairs and their shadows in the harsh early afternoon light.
