A quiet corner in the Washington, DC Indian Museum, where I had ducked in to get out of the cold. One could imagine these chairs recently populated by two tired tourists who sat there and discussed the exhibits they had just seen.

I have a new toy. My “old” Nikon Coolpix was limping, probably as a result of having been dropped one too many times. I now have a Nikon Coolpix 7700, a slightly larger and more sturdy version of this “take everywhere” camera. While I still prefer hauling around my Canon 40D for what I consider my more “serious” work, this little Coolpix will be my constant companion at all other times, just like its predecessor. This one has a neck strap! Here a non-representational abstract built from this ‘n that collected during a lunchtime jaunt.
